Macbook Pro 13″ Specs

This Macbook Laptop comes in two price category. One is with 2.4GHz and the other one is with 2.66GHz. Both the processors are from Intel’s Core2Duo line. The first one is 2.4GHz P8600 with on chip shared 3MB L2 Cache which runs 1:1 speed with the processor on 1066MHz FSB. The number of Processing Die Transistors of this processor is 410 million. The second one is 2.66GHz processor P8800 with the same on chip shared 3MB of L2 cache running on 1066MHz FSB.

The 2.4GHz model comes with 250GB of SATA Hard Disk Drive and the 2.66GHz model comes with 320GB SATA HDD. Both are 5400rpm. You can configure this before order to 500GB SATA or 128GB, 256GB, or 512GB solid-state drive (SSD)

The display on this laptop is 13.3inch diagonally with the resolution of 1280×800 pixel which is 16:10 native aspect ratio. With the support for millions of colors this display looks vibrant  and with more color gamut. It is really excellent while watching video.  The other important  supported resolutions of this display are 1024×768(4:3), 1024×768(4:3 Stretched) and 720×480(3:2 stretched). The display is LED backlit display with seamless glass enclosure is strong and durable and gives you a brilliant look.

The graphics is NVIDIA GeForce 320M graphics processor with 256MB of DDR3 SDRAM shared with main memory. So the memory available for the operating system is completely depends on the memory usage of the graphics processor. Apple says the minimum graphics usage is 256MB of RAM.

The Audio on this device on its in built speakers is not so loud but good enough in a silent environment and in a small room. There is a built in microphone apart from the audio line in/out jack which support digital audio output.

This Macbook Pro 13 is built on the Aluminum Unibody casing. The Island style keyboard is soft and gives a low noise while typing which gives good typing experience.The keyboard is illuminating type with ambient light sensor.

Another best feature is its touch-pad which is quiet large without any buttons. You need to learn how to use all the functions capabilities  like supports inertial scrolling, pinch, rotate, swipe, three-finger swipe, four-finger swipe, tap, double-tap and drag.
